Eggless Vanilla Sponge Cake Without Oven

  • Vanilla sponge cake or even hot milk sponge cake is a name you may be more familiar, is a very light and delicate cake that is so very versatile with an array of fillings and icings to choose from.

Ingredients:- 


1½ cup  maida
⅓ cup  powder sugar
¾ cup condensed milk
1 cup milk
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp oil
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1½ tsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla essence


Step:1 First we make this cake sponge without oven. So take a cooker then put some salt and wire stand in it. Preheat cooker on medium high heat for 10 minutes.

Step:2 In a mixing bowl sieve maida ,baking soda and baking powder.set aside.

Step:3 Take a bowl add butter and sugar together whisk until smooth mixture then add oil and condensed milk and mix well.

Step:4 In another bowl and add milk and vinegar mix well and rest it for 10 minutes after 10 minutes milk curdled and ready for use.

Step:5 Now take dry mixture and add little by little portion in butter sugar mixture also add curdled milk and mix well.

Step:6 Add vanilla essence in better and mix untill smooth poring consistancy.

Step:7 Take a cake tin and line with butter paper. Now pore batter in greased tin and bake for 40-45 minutes on low flame.

Step:8 Switched off the flame and check out cake using toothpick if it comes out clean then it is ready. Cool down completely and serve either only in pieces or your desired frosting.
